Had Patio laid in 2012 by a dodgy builder. Mr M explained he laid it with water running towards the building. Mr M corrected dodgy builders work. He explained the problem (I'm a single female). He didn't try to talk to me as thou I had no clue. Made me feel safe left my key with him. This is a builder you can trust to do a job well and not be ripped off. Doesn't go off the job stays till work is completed (no 4hr days!) full days work for a fair days pay. You wont be disappointed.

Absolutely fantastic! They were both very lovely gentlemen and had the patience of a saint with my dad. Very reliable and were more then happy to change things if we requested it. Very tidy, efficient and did not pester us at all! Would 100% recommend them to anyone as it is always difficult to tell who are descent people but these guys are diamonds!

Mike was very professional. He even came over a weekend as he knew it was urgent. He took away all the rubbish and even rubbish that was not his. He kept me informed at every step. He kept exactly to price given which was cheaper than the other quote I got. I cannot recommend him enough.

I live in Essex and I bought a buy to let in Bournemouth for a family member to rent from me. The house had serious damp issues that needed resolving. I found Mike Matthews on Checkatrade and spoke to him via telephone and liked what I heard. I kept Mike updated with the buying process and we first met on the day of completion. Work started the following week. A new floor, airbricks, damp course and plastering. A 1st class job completed! As I was not living nearby there had to be a lot of trust between myself and Mike regarding how and when the job was done and payments. Within four weeks the tenants had moved in.
